Prey.

Part-Sioux actress Amber Midthunder plays Naru, a skilled warrior of the Comanche Nation who fights to protect her tribe against a highly-evolved alien Predator.  There is action a plenty as the alien rolls out his high tech armaments and gadgets against the hapless foes. How will the Indian maiden fare? Well in the political correctness of Holywood these days, she is no delicate damsel but a rather a fighter, even better than the worriers and …spoiler alert …even better than the alien.

BEST SCI FI MOVIE.
Nope.

It is a sci-fi, horror, western and monster movie all in one. It is a creatively different and decididly weird Sci Fi movie and all the better for it.
“That mysterious cloud lurking on the horizon is not moving …hang on …yes it is …Oh shit!”.

BEST HORROR FILM.
Hatching.

What could possibly go wrong when a sweet 12-year-old gymnast, finds a wounded bird in the woods? She hides it and keeps it warm, but when it hatches, watch out!

BEST THRILLER.
The Forgiven.

The movie opens with an alcoholic Englishman driving his American wife along a dark rural road to a swanky party at a castle in Morocco? What unfolds is a tense, unhurried and absorbing drama.

BEST FANTASY FILM.
The Innocents.

A group of Nordic children reveal mysterious and supernatural powers that take a dark and violent turn. It is a gripping supernatural thriller. Playtime wasn’t meant to be like this!

BEST COMEDY.
The Good Boss.

Básculas Blanco is a company producing industrial scales in a provincial Spanish town. The company's proprietor, Blanco pulls out all the stops to resolve issues with his employees. In doing so he crossing every imaginable line. The movie may not have you in stitches but there is great enjoyment to be had in watching the proprietor’s impropriety!

BEST ADVENTURE MOVIE.
A Yak in The Classroom.

A disillusioned schoolteacher is transferred to a remote school deep in the Himalayan glaciers. In a classroom with no electricity or even a blackboard, will he measure up as a teacher? Spoiler alert! Well he does thanks to his education provided by this remote community.
