Just had to update and re-edit this video. Back in 2005 at Womadelaide I found myself at the front of the main stage when Lo’jo performed on the opening night.
I was directly in front of band member Yamina Nid el Mourid and just kept the camera on her. It was not until the stage lights were directed at the crowd
that I realised just how heavily it was raining. The exotic performance, tempestuous weather and jostling prick behind me made it a memorable occasion.
