Emma Delin Blues Band
This Lady SURE Can Sing!

The Emma Delin Blues Band formed around 2 years ago, and has been performing steadily around Adelaide throughout this time. Delivering blues in their purest form, without being overly loud, yet maintaining the power and dynamics for which the band is known. Formed primarily for enjoyment's sake (and with a view to accommodating it's members various individual musical pursuits), the band takes pride in refusing to take itself seriously. This essentially hedonistic pursuit of having a good time happily collides with the unique driving style of the band and guarantees that the performance appeals to any audience whether blues fans or not.

Consisting of Emma Delin (vocals), Chris Hudson (guitar, slide, harmonica and vocals), Billy Thackray (percussion) and Anthony 'Mel' Mellor (bass), who, collectively, have been extensively involved in the Adelaide music scene for years, and the forthcoming gig at The Gov should be a big night. Emma incidentally, is one of the six ladies involved in the planned Women Sing The Blues night scheduled for October 8.

Appearing at The Gov on September 22 for the S.A. Blues Society. See you there.
